Mansplaining and how women end up backing down mostly cos we cannot be arsed 'discussing' a subject with a ' know it all' who thrives on being a 'winner' at the expense of honest discourse. This is one of the ways women are silenced. It's conversational bullying. It starts at this one on one level (on rather than to), and ends up holding up the institutions that patriarchy depends on...education and government...Great poem too😄 #patriarchy #equality #mansplaining #wendycope #poetry
