I'm grateful that I got to spend time with so many friendly, fun, and talented people in the past two weeks! State of the Browser in London and Web Day Out in Brighton were great fun!
The slides for my talk “Breaking with habits” are available online! https://noti.st/matuzo/K64nm3/slides #WebDayOut
#WebDayOut - great days out

On Thursday I left #WebDayOut early and missed @jaffathecake and @lolaodelola talks, sorry.
It was definitely the right decision #NightmaresOnWax #RoyalAlbertHall
This week I went to Web Day Out hosted by @Clearleft and had a wonderful time. Here is where I got chatting and learnt about mastodon.
My key take away was that CSS is a lot more powerful now than ever so let's find ways to use that more over JavaScript. Also that we should be thinking about what libraries we are installing and if there is another solution.
It was great to talk to more developers and exchange ideas.

After #WebDayOut I had an extra day in Brighton. Having some lovely cocktails just across the venue at the Bar Valentino… but it looks really familiar.
