Benson the warehouse cat stopped by the studio just now to say hello and get scritches. A welcome break for me as I continue to work on the integration of #OBS and #VUO and the #DMX lights and stuff. I'm almost back at the point I was late last year before the whole studio remodelling and before I decided to replace QLC+ with Beam.

But never mind all that here's me spinning a cat on a stool, just in time for #caturday

In other news I am in receipt of an email from the #Vuo team asking if I'd like my Blinklichtmaschine project to be featured on their community spotlight. {"Why yes," I thought, "yes I would!")

Then it goes on to say they'd want some pictures of my band performing live with it bwbahahhahwhahhahaha a oh dear well you see it's like this....

FINALLY wrote a #python script to make crossfades on video loops for the #Vuo thingie. The original clip is 10 seconds, creating a 5 second fade means you end up with a 5 second movie and I'm still getting my head around all that maths.. TBH that was the confusingest part.

Made a repo to keep this stuff in, I think there's a few other utility scripts brewing, and I need to get better at python (as you'll notice if you look at this mess)

Now we have access to a recent computer to handle video duties, we think we can start talking about setting a date for an actual live-stream gig. This clip is a rough edit of a run-through that lasted over an hour on the day due to all the knob twiddling, but hopefully gives a feel of what an actual show might be like on the day. Feedback welcome!
