TL;DR: we build a real-time interactive system in where movement captured from a camera controls the playback speed of a video. The more you move, the faster the video plays, creating a simple but powerful interaction that can be used creatively in many contexts.
The other album I’m releasing is Hrih - two drone pieces that were made with my newish Max/MSP patch ‘Sinewives’.
I started building this device based on some rough thoughts for a process/device I’d had for a long time inspired by the music of Éliane Radigue. In fact, I was listening to some tweaks that I had just made to the patch when I saw that she had passed.
