I'm glad people are excited, but please, don't get too cocky about #KamalaHarris. Keep phone banking, text banking, dropping off literature, hosting coffee hours, etc. Donations are great but they are a cheap form of effort. The importance of individual votes making a critical difference was crystallized in a recent local election where a City Commissioner won by only 24 votes. Thankfully the capable, experienced, very effective Dem incumbent prevailed against an inexperienced but very well-funded radical president of County GOP chapter and open supporter of book banning group that was unfortunately birthed in FL. I’m choosing to try to focus on boosting the moral of local voters to show up and vote Dem.
