This week in #voltis:

I've released the first version of Voltis! v1.0.0-alpha.1, the first of a line of weekly releases to come. I intend to do weekly releases during alpha/beta.

Updated docs: https://voltis.tijlvdb.me/overview
Progress tracker: https://git.tijlvdb.me/tijlvdb/voltis/issues

This week:
- Large scanner speedups and improvements
- Revamped documentation
- New custom lists UI (WIP)
- Basic library filters

This week in #voltis:

I've completed the port over to Go, and I'm running the Go version on my private instance now. Also updated to Vuetify 4.

I'll be releasing the first alpha next week, more so to get used to making regular releases. The software works great right now for reading comics, but there's so many things I'd still like to do before the first beta.

You can star the repository on GitHub to follow releases! It's a mirror of my Forgejo instance: https://github.com/kindlyfire/voltis

This week in #voltis:

Here's this week's changes:

- Customizing the the libraries list (show/hide entries)
- Improved scanner: supports year-based comic releases
- User page to update "broken refs": user data linked to content that was deleted from the library can be recovered and reassigned
- Always allow registration for the first user as an admin

Currently, I'm working on migrating the backend from Python to Go. I'm almost done and while I certainly don't love Go, I don't regret it 😄

This week in #voltis:

I've added progress reporting when scanning libraries (1), and comics in the `.pdf` and `.cbr` formats are now supported. It works with the Massive-Verse bundle from Humble Bundle, pictured below 😄

In addition:
- I've unified bulk series progress updates into one modal (2)
- You can now search through your libraries, powered by ParadeDB (Postgres extension)
- Basic customizations for the content grid (3)

This was a great week. I'm also slowly working on documentation.
