I have just updated my project on the veteran trees in Italy:

I (re)used the dataset which was released by the Italian Ministry. You can browse the catalogue by species and province.
I also added some statistics and figures for #datanerds :)

Tree planted around 1700.

Stone text says it was planted by Tsar Nicholas who famously stayed in Deptford and trashed his house and weed on the mattresses.
More likely it was planted by John Evelyn #silentSunday #loveTrees #VeteranTrees (taken today) Mulberry tree in the heart of #Deptford
