The Times reported that a temple member discovered anti-#Zionist #graffiti on an exterior wall Sunday morning, a finding #synagogue leaders said Monday had shaken congregants already in an “emotionally fragile” moment.

#Rabbi Joshua Ratner told The New York Times that the #vandalism “was devastating in many ways.”

According to The Times, the graffiti—written in black paint—denounced Zionism and included the phrase “RIP Renee,” which Rabbi Ratner interpreted as a reference to #ReneeGood, a woman shot and killed by a federal agent in #Minneapolis last week."

"Blacklock's Reporter says Mohammed Hashim, CEO of the taxpayer-funded #Canadian #RaceRelations Foundation, told the #Senate #humanrights committee that criminals targeting #Jewish institutions are deliberately sending a message meant to intimidate the community.

“All these incidents across the country are to send a message, that #Jews cannot be safe here,” he said.

Hashim said Jewish #schools and #synagogues have been hit repeatedly.

Sen. Marilou McPhedran pressed him on how he could make such a promise.

Our poster for "Meditation im Alltag" (Meditation in an everyday context) keeps getting vandalized. Latest wisdom: "For an everyday's life that just goes on to agonize then? Boo!"

I suppose our free, raw approach is just too real for some. There are no comments on the paid yoga, movement and healing space next door, though.
