Valve's new Deadlock scratches a certain itch that a lot of games haven't been able to scratch for a long while.

I remember a similar thing happening with Apex Legends back in the day. It was something unique and fresh. It didn't feel like the rest of what's on offer.

And just like Apex blew up then, I have a feeling Deadlock will become extremely popular and a mainstay once it's officially out.
