ZephyrXero24 years ago the terrible No Child Left Behind Act was enacted. It along with the rise of anti-intellectualism are a major reason our world looks the way it does today. The dumbing down of our education system has left many struggling to communicate effectively and have poor media literacy as a direct result.
It wasn't alone. There have been a thousand tiny cuts, but NCLB was a pretty deep one.

RFK Jr, head of Health and Human Services, a notorious vaccine denier/crank, and having dispensed all kinds of medical advice, also repeatedly told Congress people should not take medical advice from him.
This is truly the worst timeline in so many ways.
