A fake blue checkmark account claiming to be from Al-Jazeera spread lies, went viral & no one stopped them.

"Our advice: Get off the platform."

Only time will tell if this is permanent. Many people left #Twitter after the #Elon debacle and came here or just left the space completely, but soon returned to #Twittwr. With them seeing some all-time highs in the recent weeks.

Whether #Threads will hold the line, users returning tk #Twitter or people coming to #Mastoson or the #Fediverse, we will have to wait and see.
