I just *baught* software for Linux... I think for the first time in my life. But the printer drivers by the Turboprint¹ team are waaays better than the drivers provided by Epson itself.

Hm, ok. Removing #turboprint solves the problem. So it was not a #debian problem, but an external component that I added manually. I'll check later if there is an update for turboprint with a fix.
