Look directly upwards at a plain, light-coloured surface like the ceiling, and, with your feet, turn your body rapidly clockwise or anti-clockwise 90° (e.g. North to East or West), then stop abruptly, all while never taking your eyes from the ceiling. The floating particles will identify themselves by continuing to spin around your eye and in your vision with the momentum imparted to the fluid!
