@trunksapp I’m starting to play around with trunks a little bit and I’m enjoying the layout!

One question I have is if there’s a quicker way to get to the most recent post in my feed.

When I open the app from the day before I’ve been refreshing the feed multiple times to get to a recent post. Is there an easier way I’m missing? #trunksapp #trunksapptips

@[email protected] 1) swipe down on the account icon, should cycle to the next account (not discoverable, working on that) 2) will definitely integrate, didn't notice that was part of 4.2. 3) yep, tracked for next release 4) already should work! The client uses the marker API. It should sync between any platform (Android, iOS, web, etc)

A very useful feature that I haven't been using enough is "Hide post" that displays the post as if it had used the CW feature, even when it didn't.

This allows you to show/hide individual posts in your timeline even when they might normally take up a lot of vertical space.

@trunksapp

Good question!

That "filter" button is a one-click filter creator that ensures that anything related to that hashtag never shows up in any of the filter categories. By default it means that content tagged with it won't show up anywhere but public feeds from remote servers!

You can go in afterwards and tune it to your hearts content.

Hi @[email protected] - have a quick question: have added a hashtag as a pinned shortcut. When I view the corresponding page, besides the "follow/unfollow" button, there's a "filter" button. Trying to understand what it is meant to do, and have no clue... when clicking it creates a filter, fine, but what's the purpose and where do I see the difference? Thx. (Was looking for some help/user guide online and didn't find any, so far...)

Did you know #trunksapp lets you quickly add **any** server as to be an additional source for your explore tab?

You can quickly see what's happening across your favorite communities, or see what's trending as merger across all of them!

See the video about adding journa.host to quickly see what is happening in news!

It's great for dipping your toes into trends that you missed out on with #twitter.

Did you know you can search for any #fediverse server on #trunksapp and add it to your pinned shortcuts for quick access?

@nincodedo there are lots of little hidden gestures all over.

- Swipe your account avatar down to switch to the next account.
- Double tap your avatar to see the account chooser.
- Long press on the post time to see the actual localized time the post was created.
- Long press publish in a compose page to schedule a toot.
- Long press any users avatar to see their account information.

And a bunch of others I'm forgetting.

Did you know you can create a quote toot in #trunksapp just by long pressing the boost button?

Any quote toot can also be searched or filtered by checking the #QT hashtag.

_Did you know that you can long press on any account icon or annotation and get more details?_

On web you can achieve this just by hovering over the content.
