Did you know #trunksapp lets you quickly add **any** server as to be an additional source for your explore tab?

You can quickly see what's happening across your favorite communities, or see what's trending as merger across all of them!

See the video about adding journa.host to quickly see what is happening in news!

It's great for dipping your toes into trends that you missed out on with #twitter.

Anyone have any explore sources they can't live without?
@trunksapp Not sure if it exists or if it is possible 😁 but a list of new accounts would be handy to see if someone we know is joining Mastodon.
@Lon I'm not sure that's exposed - but I'll definitely see what I can do! I already have some ideas for other user discovery.

Want to check out the journa.host timeline for yourself? follow the url (it'll open in trunks if you have it, and on the web if you don't):

@trunksapp very nice all this, but I think a lot of newcomers will be disappointed when they learn that almost no app saves the timeline position between app restarts. This should be a priority issue, not only for #trunksapp.
@falschgold depending on who you ask, all kinds of issues are priorities. I appreciate your input.
@trunksapp That is a nice feature and thank you for mentioning journa.host, an interesting #timeline to follow!
@trunksapp
Downloaded, logged in, stuck on loading. 😕
@bettybarcode 😬 It may be related to your server. I'll look into it. Thanks for the heads up
@trunksapp @bettybarcode
I can confirm, I have the same issue here, both from piaille.fr and fosstodon.org. Works fine on the web interface, but stuck at loading in the android app.
@marcel it works fine on https://trunks.social ?

@trunksapp
Yes ! But not on the android app...
@trunksapp Hi! Speaking of the explore tab, is there any way to increase the quantity of posts that are shown after you expand the trending posts section? That’s my favorite place to scroll, but it’s capped at 30 posts. On another app, it loads more posts as you reach the last one which is really nice, so I end up using that app most days—but I’d much rather use Trunks!

@trunksapp Thanks so much! Is github the best way to make suggestions, even if they’re not “bugs”?
