Looking around the park the building in the previous post is in. Suddenly I'm wondering why we don't have a 10m wide band of trees between it and the busy roads along 2 of its boundaries?

This would reduce pollution in the park - traffic noise and visual noise as well as exhaust fumes - and provide wildlife corridors. It would reduce the amount of grass that needs regularly mowing. It would turn what is currently dead space into another adventure play space for kids (young and old.
