Lichens indicate airquality and climateconditions. I found the #species below in #Jungfernheide #forest #Berlin. While #Parmelia #sulcata requires light, but is flexible, #Hypotrachyna #afrorevoluta needs warm, nitrogen-poor #environments and clean air. The latter is rarer in #Germany, but spreading eastward based on #globalwarming. D. Masson (2004) found it on #treetrunks and #branches.

Quelle déception en allant me balader dans le hameau au-dessus de chez moi... Il y a là-bas quelques beaux arbres 🌳 qui donnent de l'ombre aux troupeaux et aux promeneurs, mais ce hêtre n'a visiblement pas résisté aux tempêtes Nils et Pedro... Il était bien en vie (il avait commencé à faire des bourgeons). #arbres #tree #treetrunks #vent #wind
