Two #print #printer woes/questions

I bought the Epson EcoTank. I love it, but I didn't think about the fact that I'm printing from #linux. The #debian driver works...OK at best.

A search revealed a third-party with a more fully-featured driver, but it's like $100 and closed source. Ugh.

Any other experiences?

And while we are on the topic of printing from #inkscape, I'm having trouble finding info on how multi-page documents work *for printing*.

I have 5 pages. Page 1 is 8.5x11, all the others are 4.25x5.5. The print dialog uses the "document properties" which doesn't seem to understand multi-page and only shows 8.5x11.

How can I print just page 4, for example, at the correct size of 4.25x5.5?

Does anyone out there know of a UK or EU based print-on-demand service that's like Redbubble?

For weeks now the Redbubble uploader has refused to work, customer service isn't helping, and it's not the first time I've had this problem.

I can't presently afford to invest in creating my own stock inventory, hence using print-on-demand services.

They did an article on me as the featured artist for Friday Night Market in my local newspaper.

I wish I could share it, but it’s for subscribers only, apparently, and it doesn’t qualify for a gift link.

Regardless, it’s a nicely written piece, and it introduces me to the community in a way that is really authentic, and fits into the aesthetic of local-first.

Between this and the poster I made for the event, I’m pretty stoked today! I guess they’ll be selling it as a limited edition print at their info booth, which is honestly a great way for them to raise money—the Humboldt Made organization has been awesome to me, personally, so I’m happy to give back somehow.
