An estimated 100,000 people joined the Trans+ Pride event yesterday in London as they marched from near BBC Broadcasting House, past Downing Street, and on to Westminster Palace to Parliament Square Gardens. It was spectacular & emotional to watch.

As I have never had the need, I don’t have concrete opinions on some transgender issues that come up such as treatments for youth. I happen to not be transgender; nor am I the parent of a transgender child; nor am I a health care provider. If someone is none of these things why would they feel qualified to have the best opinion?
Yes, we should be listening to people who are #transgender.
