This is one of those: figuring out which stuff is actually still working afternoons. It turns out: my #oscilloscope is working, my #ft817 and my swr meter and my dummy load works, too.
My #ma12 trx which I wanted to test, in the first place is in desperate need of calibration. But, same goes for my KX3 and K2 #tranceivers which I took to cross check first. It took me a while to figure that out, wonder what comes next.

I think #elecraft is making ingenious #tranceivers, except for battery management which is not exactly their strongest point.

I am still curious if I should be scared or amazed by the simplicity of this circuit.

I think I might have found a 6Ah LiFePo Battery setup, with integrated charge controller, that fits into that AGM mounting bracket.

If anyone has done something similar with the K2, please report back.
