Disabled passengers apply for judicial review over ticket office closures consultation
Morning StarI've sent in an objection to the #TicketOfficeClosures at UK railway stations. You can do this until the end of the day today. There is some advice on how to do this at https://www.transportforall.org.uk/campaign/ticket-office-closures/take-action/
While good ticket machines would only solve a fraction of the problems, I doubt I would be motivated to send in an objection if the ticket machines in the UK weren't universally appalling.
Tomorrow (Sept 1st) is your last chance to object to #TicketOfficeClosures at #UK #railway stations. You should object because these plans will make the railways less safe and harder to use, particularly for disabled people.

The government and train companies have plans to close nearly one thousand ticket offices across the rail network. We know that our ticket offices and station staffing must be protected for the service, safety and accessibility of everyone who travels by train. The train companies in England have opened up public consultations until 1st September, where we have the opportunity to voice our objections. Use this quick and easy tool to respond to the public consultation and object to the closure of ticket offices. Wherever possible, please add in details to the consultation responses about which ticket offices you are particularly concerned about and why you want them to stay open. The train companies are proposing to close nearly 1000 ticket offices. You can use this form to object to the closure of all ticket offices. If you want to write to your individual train company, you can find yours here!
