Left, you see my self-made power supply for my #ti703 teletype. It does not exactly match the 20VAC required by the device. I used a 12V/24V AC bell transformer. However, using it the head of the teletype does not move reliably and it does not print to the thermo paper.

I think, there is a lot more to do to make the teletype work ...

Mmmh, not so easy to get my #teletype #ti703 to work. Later the day, I will try a different option to power it (I do not have the original 20VAC power supply). Also, there seems to be a mechanical problem with the barberpole moving the print head.

Wohoo, my #teletype TI Silent 703 has just arrived. 🤩 Overall, it is in a very good condition - only a little dust inside. And I have to figure out how to properly power that beauty as the original power supply is missing. It needs 20VAC. 🤔
