Mmmh, not so easy to get my #teletype#ti703 to work. Later the day, I will try a different option to power it (I do not have the original 20VAC power supply). Also, there seems to be a mechanical problem with the barberpole moving the print head.
I completely disassembled the teletype. The chip U16 (PROM?) on the mainboard seems to be missing. It has a cartridge installed, maybe this is a replacement ...?
