Yeah, I was a bit baffled by what this was all about until you replied, and I did see that post of yours. This is very much how people on Twitter would respond, and I think they've come here recently with this learnt behaviour, having not yet realised #ThisIsntTwitter Glad to see you got some of them to snap out of it, but yeah, we just need to work on breaking-the-cycle with them and that behaviour.

@obrerx I’ve noticed that I’ll follow someone, but I’ve actually unfollowed them because my instance has been laggy, and hadn’t had time to show I was already following them!

So hitting follow, β€˜unfolllowed’ them.
I’m being more careful now and making sure the account has fully loaded before I hit β€˜follow’!
