WhatsApp is launching third-party chat support in Europe under DMA rules

Meta is enabling cross-platform messaging on WhatsApp in Europe following the EU's Digital Markets Act. Users will soon be able to chat with third-party apps like BirdyChat and Haiket while maintaining end-to-end encryption and other privacy features.
