sollatThe Trench has been widened and now may be called The Plot. It’s going to have to marinate for a while, because the lowest layer is hard packed sandy soil and rock. I got it down the best I could, then layered muddy sod (upside down) and some of the less muddy layer, then I added a couple bags of garden soil. There are tons of worms in the area, so I’m letting them figure things out. #WormPower
Probably some more sod to pull out, but it’s a good start.
The drainage part of The New Trench is doing its job. Everything is still muddy, but it would’ve been worse today. The upper part still needs more digging but I’m waiting for later in the week.
