If I had a nickel for every 2006 movie where a character played by Jason Statham was poisoned with a substance of Chinese origin by a non-Chinese character, and went on to have disappointing sequels by the end of the decade (the movies, not the characters or poison), I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
