Agi: Garlasco, difesa Sempio al contrattacco: pronte 5 nuove perizie

AGI - La difesa di Andrea Sempio passa al 'controattacco' e affida ai consulenti il compito di replicare alle conclusioni dell'inchiesta della Procura di Pavia che accusa l'indagato di avere ucciso Chiara Poggi il 13 agosto 2007 a Garlasco.
"Tra ieri e oggi è stato recuperato tutto il materiale probatorio sia quello informatico sia quello documentale - premette l'avvocato Liborio Cataliotti che assiste l'indagato con Angela Taccia - e iniziato a distribuirlo tra i vari consulenti". E poi elenca gli studi che saranno depositati nei prossimi giorni, tutti su aspetti cruciali nella ricostruzione dell'ipotesi investigativa.

Le perizie della difesa: dal DNA all'impronta 33
"Una consulenza sarà medico-legale per determinare le cause e soprattutto il tempo del decesso della vittima. Un'altra sarà antropometrica onde verificare se le impronte possono collimare con le dimensioni del piede di Sempio. Un'altra ancora sarà volta a ripulire i poco comprensibili audio delle intercettazioni. Un'altra sarà in replica alla Bpa sulla ricostruzione della dinamica dell'omicidio. E infine ci sarà una consulenza dattiloscopica sull'impronta 33 (ritenuta dai pm del palmo di Sempio, ndr) e soprattutto sull'impronta 45 (sul muro di destra dove fu trovato il cadavere di Chiara Poggi, ndr)".

Cataliotti indica le tempistiche: "Il lavoro dei consulenti sarà di circa due settimane, abbiamo venti giorni dalla chiusura dell'indagine per presentare le consulenze. Da questo momento non rilasceremo altre dichiarazioni perché sarebbero fondate su una conoscenza molto frammentaria del fascicolo".
Lo studio psicologico a Roma e il confronto con il Racis
"Sono in corso dalla giornata di ieri e si protrarranno fino a sera i colloqui tra Andrea Sempio e la nostra psicologa e criminologa. Sara' utile per tratteggiare la personalità del nostro cliente e per contrapporla o accompagnarla a quella fatta dal Racis". Lo comunica l'avvocato Liborio Cataliotti, legale dell'indagato. Sempio si sta sottoponendo allo studio psicologico nel laboratorio 'Genomica' di Roma. Secondo i carabinieri del Racis, il 38enne avrebbe manifestato una "innata capacità di mentire".

AGI - The defense of Andrea Sempio is switching to a “counterattack” strategy and is entrusting consultants with the task of responding to the conclusions of the Pavia Prosecutor’s investigation, which accuses the defendant of having killed Chiara Poggi on August 13, 2007, in Garlasco.

“Between yesterday and today, all the evidentiary material – both computer and documentary – has been recovered – stated lawyer Liborio Cataliotti, who is assisting the defendant with Angela Taccia – and has begun to be distributed among the various consultants.” And then he lists the studies that will be submitted in the coming days, all relating to crucial aspects of reconstructing the investigative hypothesis.

“One will be a forensic medical report to determine the causes and, above all, the time of death of the victim. Another will be anthropometric, to verify whether the fingerprints can align with the size of Sempio’s foot. Another will focus on clarifying the incomprehensible audio recordings of the wiretaps. Another will respond to the Bpa regarding the reconstruction of the murder dynamics. And finally, there will be a forensic examination of fingerprint 33 (held by the Pavia prosecutors on Sempio’s palm, ed.) and especially fingerprint 45 (on the right wall where the body of Chiara Poggi was found, ed.)”.

Cataliotti indicates the timelines: “The consultants’ work will take about two weeks, we have 20 days from the closure of the investigation to present the expert reports. From this point forward, we will not issue any further statements because they would be based on a very fragmented knowledge of the file.”

Psychological study in Rome and comparison with the Racis
“Meetings between Andrea Sempio and our psychologist and criminologist have been taking place since yesterday and will continue until evening. This will be useful for outlining the personality of our client and contrasting or accompanying it with that made by the Racis.” This was communicated by lawyer Liborio Cataliotti, the defendant’s lawyer. Sempio is undergoing the psychological study in the ‘Genomica’ laboratory in Rome. According to the Racisabinieri (Carabinieri), the 38-year-old allegedly displayed an “innate capacity for lying.”
