Huh. A week ago, if you searched for calmshows in the app store (the exact name for one of my apps), the app did not appear. Now it’s the first result again.

Oh, good: Safari (and anything that uses WebKit) is suddenly broken under Sequioa on my main Mac. All content—remote, local network, local file—just produces endless attempts to reload (in some cases) a warning that a page was reloaded because an error occurred.
No Safari extensions installed. And it happens with other apps that use WebKit. You know, like Mail.
Wanna see a web page Safari can't handle? Amazing.
So, I just opened Apple's Notes app for #macos where I make quick notes of things, particularly, say, during involved phone-tree-etc nighmares with ISPs, banks, utility companies, and the like. Ticket numbers, private skip-the-queue numbers, account numbers, representative names, etc.
Today, all my Notes are gone.
Since I don't use iCloud, they're not on iCloud. I do have backups, but Time Machine refuses to restore to the hidden notes data in ~/Library/.
So, now my one-year-old desktop Mac has a bad USB-C port. How long before the others go?
@alexander @thomholwerda wait is this android or ios because one of them is just a safari skin
#thanks-appleAn absolute nightmare on a long-haul flight. I have a new-ish phone which obviously does not support the 3.5mm because everyone wants to be apple. However, most flight entertainment systems still have a 3.5mm interface only.
Yes, let us move towards throwing away old tech and bringing in new because profits need to keep growing and techbros need their new toys.
