Sigh. In #iOS26 and #iPadOS26 26.4, the entire album UI in Music takes the colours from the cover art. Damn it, Apple, I want my user interface to look consistent, and I use light mode for a reason!

I have an iPhone SE that I didn't update to the latest #LiquidAss yet, it's still on iOS 18.7.1
But now there are important security updates and Apple is forcing me to update. They released a new 18.7.x but my phone model is apparently not allowed to install this update.
WTF.

I made the iOS update this morning. Right from the "Hello" screen after the update, everything looked so cheap. 😭

A (very small) consolation: when you enable "Low Power Mode" in the battery settings, the ugly effect for the icon borders is disabled.

I love Numbers. It’s super friendly compared with Excel. But what Apple did in this latest version, applying Liquid Glass on the user interface, isn't fair. A very nice-looking and solid Mac application now looks horrible. 🙁

Granted both #WindowsXP and #Windows7 integrated a lot of #accessibility features from #WindowsMe and #Windows2000 and they inclided high-contrast themes as well.
- But yeah, in terms of #HighContrast & #HiDPI-design, #Windows8 (which @fuchsiii really liked!) certainly does it better woth that full-screen Launcher…

I do think that #FrutigerAero can be made better and more #accessible with a reinterpretation that I'd call "#LexendGlass" because it not using #Frutiger and isn't merely #AeroGlass or #LiquidAss aka. #LiquidGlass, but should use more contrast…
