In all of my 30 years of being in #tech, I've never been to a #techcon

In the last 5ish years of moving my skills focus from #networking towards more dev, #devops, #InfraOps, I see so many folks involved in #Python and #Django and I guess my personality is just not wired for being so social & jetsetting.

I kinda wish I did. Now that I am feeling a tiny bit more confident skill wise; I know that I am missing out on opportunities.

Truth be told...conferences just fucking terrify me.
