(Yes, I know the character’s middle name is Ann)
I have decided my new swear is going to be “Beezus H. Quimby!”

Today I learned what a "hodenkobold" is in German (a testicle goblin). There are other interesting bits in this research too: https://www.theguardian.com/science/2025/oct/19/italian-blasphemy-and-german-ingenuity-how-swear-words-differ-around-the-world
Could some #Eurovision-conoisseur tell, how come it wasn't ok for Miriana Conte to sing Kant (singing in Maltese), and there was some talk that it might not be ok for KAJ to sing Perkele (Devil, damn etc. in Finnish), and especially on #BBC it is forbidden to #swear, but UK is sending What The Hell Just Happened. And the #EBU nor BBC haven't said anything about Hell.

I'm researching - Comment how you pronounce the word "fuck" and the country you learned to speak in.
I want to make a map that shows how to tell someone's home country based on their pronunciation of #fuck

I am from the northeast US, and I say "fahk." I might need to account for regional accents - the Midwest and South might say it differently
I know 3 uk people & they say fuck, fuhk, and Fook bc they're different regions lol
Someone (Vidar Holen going by the URL) has made a graph that lets you see the number of #swearWords in the #Linux #kernel source code over time.
I am a little disappointed that there apparently has not been a single 'perkele' at any time.
