#hyprlock is so amazing! you can easily add the output of any command to your lock screen, and update it periodically. it also supports fingerprint unlocking well, unlike #swaylock.

I have installed #CaelestiaShell for a better #Niri experience.
Though not everything is working for me, it feels good so far.

Now i need something which can replace #SwayLock as my locker - or i need to find a way to turn off the monitor or even hibernate the laptop.

Discuss if you are curious or even use the shell.

Vielleicht seit 0.40.
Mehrmals am Tag kommt es zu Abstürzen.

Denke, es hat damit zu tun:

My #kensington trackball freezes up sometimes after unlocking my screen (I'm using #swaylock to lock) and the only way I've found to get it working again is to disconnect+reconnect the USB plug. I'd be very grateful for tips of other things to try that don't involve physically pulling plugs.
Question about #qutebrowser and/or #SwayIdle #Swaylock When watching YT/browservideos. Is there a way to prevent the screenlock to activate?

Useful command-line options for #swaylock

swaylock -c 00000000 -u

I had some #Wayland related issues on #openSUSE #Tumbleweed for a while, where thinks like #swaylock or setting wallpaper in #sway just wouldn't work. After some investigation it seemed that a Wayland related package update would automagically fix the problem.

After procrastinating for weeks, I decided to run `zypper dup`, and reboot.

I have my wallpaper back. I have my lockscreen back. Nice :)
I now just hope that the #opensuseway project also works as intended: https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:OpenSUSEway

Last time I tried, i had some issues with the login screen (greetd?)
