I'm now using #kde and I love how polished it is and how much of it just worked, compared to my previous #hyprland-based "all custom" setup. But man. Coming from a tiling WM to something non-tiling is _rough_. I've tried the KDE tiling solutions but it's obviously a crutch. Not sure how I proceed now.
I definitely have less motivation to build all the crap around the WM (disks, monitors, ...). But I don't think there is much of a middle-ground.
