It's time for a #survivalRevival! The People's Fair at Vermont's Barton Fairgrounds will take place rain or shine on Saturday, June 6, from 11am - 3pm, in and around Floral Hall.

#kuRRve, the long term disaster recovery group in the #northeastKingdom, is excited to be part of this FREE event with Northeast Kingdom Organizing (#NEKO), the #Vermont #Workers' Center (#VWC), the Center For An #Agricultural #Economy, the #Kairos Center for Religions, Rights and #socialJustice, #Glover #Equity, and Your Neighbors. There will be free household trash disposal, muck & gut training, a FREE hot community meal, children's activities, a people's health clinic, a sign up for a subsequent free #dental screening, a community sing, and more. A great opportunity to meet folks.

The People's Fair in the NEK will be the first of other Survival Revivals held around the country. Others will take place in Alabama, Illinois, and Kansas and uplift how we are coming together, responding to this moment, and meeting the needs of our communities.

A free, People's Family Fair in the Northeast Kingdom of #Vermont focusing on community-member conversations, shared food and song, health and #resilience resources in the face of spreading #poverty, the recently recurring #flooding disasters, taking place rain or shine this Saturday from 11am until 3pm.

Free household trash removal, a muck-&-gut training for flood remediation, a community meal, song-leading, artmaking, kids’ activities (BOUNCY HOUSE!), a speak-out, and a people’s #health screening clinic. Sign up there for a subsequent free dental clinic, details to follow.
