With that in mind I think I should pickup where I left off building a #MarioKart / #FZero style #racingGame engine. I've long felt that 2D #superScaler #Arcade style graphics (like Space Harrier, or Afterburner) are totally practical to build with the DOM. Browser compositors are so fast these days I bet you could handle hundreds of <div> sprites flying all over the screen. Such an engine would allow for 3D worlds without having to deal with polygons.
