Anyone tested #pistorm in a #Sun2 or #Sun3 ? Might even work as they use a custom #MMU afaik. #68010 #68020

Wouldn't it be fun if someone would remake a #Sun2 or #Sun3 with modern components as people seem to do of just about every toy system these days.
Even the schemas and PAL code is out there, afaik, so should be fairly easy ? Or ?

@ball I think #NetBSD still builds tape boot files for #sun2, #sun3, #mvme68k, #sparc and #vax, though there looks to still be code to also install from tape on at least #alpha, #amiga, #atari and #hp300. Tsk, should just be for all the platforms :-p

Oh, I did scan the photos of INFRa's old #Sun3/160 in the server room of a previous employer at some time...

We actually had a bunch of dialup modems connected to those serial terminal ports for some time, but I think they were limited to 19k2, so we had to move on from that.
