Wouldn't it be fun if someone would remake a #Sun2 or #Sun3 with modern components as people seem to do of just about every toy system these days.
Even the schemas and PAL code is out there, afaik, so should be fairly easy ? Or ?

The only tiny issue with those #m68k Suns is that they haven't seen power in almost 20 years. And I'm scared to even try. But the #Sun2 did boot at the time I got in 2004.

The #sun2 architecture manuals is an interesting read. Especially that it was supposed to have a sound chip but they removed it for some reason. #m68k
