Good morning all my friends. You know how yesterday I declared myself over that bitch of an upper respiratory illness? Good morning to a 40 minute long coughing fit. And sinus drainage.

I guess I spoke too soon. 🤷‍♀️ Hopefully it's just my body clearing out the dregs. I am so tired of coughing.

Still sick. No surprise there. At one point yesterday, I collapsed on the floor and couldn't get up on my own. I'm better than that today, so maybe on the mend?

I remember a commercial, from the 60s maybe, that posited "A summer cold is a different animal." I'm aging myself. Most of you probably weren't born yet. So it turns out that's true, insofar as viruses are animals. Summer colds are caused by enterovirus, where winter colds are typically rhinovirus.

Went downstairs and emptied the dishwasher. Took maybe 20 or 30 minutes. But there was a lot of bending involved. I'm hurting and exhausted. I hate being chronically ill.
