I don't quite remember if the Xerochrysum bracteatum (aka Helichrysum, aka "straw flowers") had these color gradients last year. I'll have to dig up my pictures.

I had planned to document all of the flowers I planted from seed - and I sort of did, but life got...hard for a while. So all projects got put on hold.

There's some sort of metaphor happening here with these flowers coming back now from the seeds I planted.
