Almost at peak gold/yellow on this section of Clear Creek yesterday. The greens should fade soon and I'll be checking it daily to try to catch it at peak barring some unforeseen massive storm🤞.

Molten amber.

A view looking down on the sunlit & wind blown surface of Clear Creek in Coralville, Iowa. Looking closely you can see a few spots where the distortion is minimal & objects on the creek bed are visible. Hence, "Clear Creek".

One of my favorite views from a bridge crossing Clear Creek and looking towards some open prairie along Clear Creek Trail.

Of the 100+ fall flock of grackles gathered in/obscured by the dense trees & undergrowth in the background, this was the only one I managed to find on the periphery. Love grackles but find 'em very shy/difficult to photograph.

Dneska bylo nádherně, škoda sedět doma nebo se flákat v Brně na #MakerFaire Tak jsme s holkama vyrazili na #Hazmburg #photoHour #stormHour #autumn #fall 🍁🍂🍁🍂

A bit of Clear Creek Trail in the fall from yesterday (my videography is a little wobbly🥴). Trees & undergrowth should be all golds/yellows in a week or so. Hopefully, I can capture it before any storms with high winds (typical here in fall) knock it down🤞.

@Rihilism I had about 40 of them in my and my neighbours' trees a week or 2 ago, hanging out for several hours. The constant "comversation" they had was quite delightful.

@louisffourie

Very cool! The sound of this flock was pretty amazing as well. It was a bit frustrating though because every time I got a bit closer the ones on the edge of the dense trees just moved further into hiding. Mostly could only see them in the tops of the trees.
