Of the 100+ fall flock of grackles gathered in/obscured by the dense trees & undergrowth in the background, this was the only one I managed to find on the periphery. Love grackles but find 'em very shy/difficult to photograph.

A bit of Clear Creek Trail in the fall from yesterday (my videography is a little wobbly🥴). Trees & undergrowth should be all golds/yellows in a week or so. Hopefully, I can capture it before any storms with high winds (typical here in fall) knock it down🤞.

Went down to the Iowa river to catch a #sunrise last week. Not much color but spent a peaceful a.m. w/ a white pelican (center bottom frame) & a bald eagle (tree branches upper right frame) both of whom were itchin' to go fishin'.

The starlings have been gathering together in larger & larger flocks. These were part of a large "tubular" flock that passed over me while walking along the Iowa River Trail.
