I have just cut.

My 1st steek was Purl Soho's "Tiny Stripes" - https://www.purlsoho.com/create/2017/02/24/tiny-stripes-cardigan-vest/

This is actually the *second* tutorial item, the 1st-&-easier pattern is "Learn-to-Love-Steeks Blanket" - https://www.purlsoho.com/create/2017/01/25/learn-to-love-steeks-blanket/

The cardigan was perfect, though. They said one could use a sewing machine to stabilize the stitches, as you did with crochet, but it actually was not necessary. I did lose the 'middle' stitch a couple times, but not visible, & inside.

I suppose, since #knitting / #tricot follows are beginning to creep into this account, too, I should post one or two of my current #WIP s: this is a deliberately #boring #cardigan pattern of my own design, being #knit Norwegian #steek style - a stockinette tube with two more to be stuck on for sleeves.

This weekend I finished my Shetland vest, glad I learned how to make a steek. Shetland yarn is my favourite wool, light, warm and affordable. Now it might be time to finish that fairisle jumper started in December 2015?
