I slightly updated my website which is based on my nerdy #manpageblog engine.

I recently added several #SEO improvements and made some smaller changes to the design to make it more readable but also slightly more modern. I'm not sure if this isn't already too fancy again where it should focus on simplicity and alignment with traditional manpages.

Using the Fediverse to Add Comments to a Static Website

Since I migrated this website to HUGO I have been searching for an elegant way to allow comments on our blog posts. I looked at most solutions given in the Hugo Documentation. They all seemed overly complex and involved third party services. So I started thinking if it would be possible to use statuses on Mastodon. It turns out I was not alone and this has been done before several times.

#manpageblog - a very small static blog engine just got updated in version 1.5 - featuring pagination support. I finally added this ;) And guess what, I'm moving back to it - very soon :)

Smalltalk devs have been kicking-ass and taking names in the "creative solutions" department lately *cough*Glamorous Toolkit*cough* and yet no-one's made a notable static blog generator to use to talk about their Smalltalk coolness?!
