What I'm getting so far is:
only sitting or only standing is not great for most peopletaking more walking breaks & doing more exercise is the easiest, cheapest way to get the benefits of a standing desktyping, reading might be difficult while in standing position, but doing online meetings is finethere are cheap ways to convert a normal desk in standing deskin any case, one should definitely get an adjustable standing deskwith the standing desk, having a soft mat or a treadmill is importantThis made me less likely to get a standing desk for myself, especially because I'm mostly doing writing / reading / coding and point 3) says that I might not be able to do this while standing 😬 So here's a poll specifically about this!
While standing / walking at your (adjustable) standing desk, do you find it:
