For years I’ve been ✨obsessed✨ with the emergence of pasque flowers around the neighborhood, and sharing an almanac on social media (#denalipasquealmnac on IG). There’s a couple steep south facing slopes, one of which is sort of collapsing, where the snow melts early. This year I’m turning it into a photo essay for AK Humanities Forum, & I’m just waiting for the 3’ of snow to melt so they can get beyond this nubbin stage.
