Continuing my #spindleBingo2026 posting, today I started sampling two different types of fleece — one “down” type (Suffolk) and the other long-staple (Gotland). The Suffolk seems really easy to spin and the Gotland seems slippery. I have breed sets - 2 more down breeds and 2 more long -staple breeds. I’ll do at least one more of each to compare. #handspinning #spingo #fiberarts

People requested #spindleBingo2026 cross-posting! I did Spinning Math yesterday on two recently completed spins - my Advent spin and a spinalong I did with @Pufferfish and friends with La Mercerie YoF September Reverie from Witch Fire Fibers.

Booked a short break next month in #Helston, #Cornwall. Recommend things to do other than getting bladdered on #Spingo at the #BlueAnchor!
