Continuing my #spindleBingo2026 posting, today I started sampling two different types of fleece — one “down” type (Suffolk) and the other long-staple (Gotland). The Suffolk seems really easy to spin and the Gotland seems slippery. I have breed sets - 2 more down breeds and 2 more long -staple breeds. I’ll do at least one more of each to compare. #handspinning #spingo #fiberarts

1602 yds at 483g (332 yds per 100g)
12-14 WPI
Plied twist ~60 deg

September Reverie - my first successful attempt at chunky
98 yds and 107g (92 yds per 100g)
~6-7 WPI
Plied twist angle ~45 (3-ply)
