March 1 recap of #FiberGoals - I have now done some kind of fiber arts 60 days in a row, including every day so far this year! I also used my blending board for a project for IG #SpindleBingo - and in turn I used those to sample three different drafting styles on my spindles!

Knitting has been non existent except for making a couple of hexiflats from handspun. That’s ok though - I’m loving the spinning and can’t wait to do more.

Cross-posting from IG #SpindleBingo continues! One of the squares is prepare your own fiber, so I finally got out the blending board I bought last year and some dyed Romeldale locks. The rolags definitely show my inexperience and lack of practice - improving from left to right in the photo in the order they came off the board. I’m using them to sample different drafting styles (another square on the board) starting with long draw #handSpinning #spindleposting #FiberArts

It’s time for my first check in on 2026 Fiber Goals. I did some kind of fiber arts every single day in January, mostly spinning on spindles for IG #SpindleBingo and a knitting of spindle spun samples which counts for new hexiflats! I’ve been spinning so much that the Good Tidings Advent knitting has not yet started and might not begin until March at the earliest. Still, I’m pleased with progress. A little every day is the goal. #FiberArts #handspinning #knitting

I am behind on my #spindlebingo crossposting from IG. I’ve been working on spinning that mini-batt set and just finished the fifth one. The batt had a lot of blue in it but with the blending it came out much more grey. Just the snowy one left! #spindleposting #handSpinning #FiberArts
