during those walks i made piezoelectric recordings, listening through contact rather than air. i lost them.

so, how do these imagined sounds interweave? which ones approach from the water, which cling to stone? what stays near, what recedes, what circulates without source? how is distance perceived when sound detaches from action?
these images sit in that gap: sound not heard, only imagined.
