I'm trying really hard not to make a comic about critical minerals. 'Cos I know, my mum tells me, "it just doesn't resonate". Unless it's a personal story, critical minerals seem too far removed from our lives.
While Gaza City is being systematically taken over, house by house, Australia has condemned Israel's plan to build E1 — a settlement which will cut the West Bank into two. But condemning Israel's plans is not enough.
The Nakba commemorates the massacres and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land in 1948, when 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly evicted from their land by Zionist militia groups. Many fled to Gaza. Over the last 8 months in Gaza, over 200,000 people have been displaced. Many for the tenth time. The Nakba never ended. Today it is accelerating.
